Enrico Viselli, LAc provides acupuncture treatment with and without needles. Even in ancient times other methods were developed to stimulate points for patients who were too sensitive to be needled. Heat and massage were used in such cases. In my practice, heat and massage are still used together and with other methods that stimulate the points gently and effectively. Some of these methods include light from a cold laser, the vibration and sound from tuning forks, aromatherapy oils, magnets and crystals. I also employ CranioSacral Therapy (CST) and Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT). CST and LDT are gentle systems of bodywork that require a delicate touch. As such these choices are excellent when treating patients who have been suffering long term debilitating illness and for children who may be too sensitive for stronger methods of treatment.
These methods of treatment are efffective when strong pressure is unnecessay or could be harmful. CST is shown to be effective in the treatment of ADD, ADHD, chronic pain and headache. LDT cleans the lymphatic system working to relieve swelling and inflamation while revitalizing the immune system.
